Being Sindhi is a crime for Asif Zardari
Pakistan’s political scene is once again echoing the sounds of “Sindh Card” MQM’s Quid e Tehrik Mr. Altaf Hussain this Sunday during is telephonic speech said “If some one creates riots using Sindh card the MQM’s Sindhi Sathis will protect MQM from Karachi to Kashmore”
Mr. Hussain has used the word Sindh Card at a time when Pakistan’s notoriously motivated and mischief Punjab centric media has started a campaign against President Asif Ali Zardari whom they don’t even name with proper title and respect. Only some of PPP ministers gave such statements that because Asif Ali Zardari speaks Sindhi, he is being criticized to some extent it may be true but is only Asif Ali Zardari or is it every Sindhi from top to the bottom being criticised or appraised because of being a Sindhi.
PPP General Secretary for Sindh Taj Haidar says “I don’t know what is Sindh card but if Sindh is continuously ignored appraised and if we talk about it i gues that would not be any card? We cry on atrocities of the central government with Sindh the appraising powers say why do you cry. Establishment has taken us from neck and our eyes have come out they say Aankhain Kyoon Dikhatey ho”.
Taj Haider has very rightly said that when they see President Zardari who in their eyes is the worst man in the world how has become the president of Pakistan. They cant not digest the the very fact actually.
Senior journalist Mr. Irshad Gilani says sisnce years people have been using the term Sindh Card why dont they talk about Balouchistan Card or Sarhad Card or when Nawaz Sharif in his 1988 election campaign started chanting “Jag Punjabi jag” why no one said he is using Punjab Card.
After the criticisam of Urdu & English newspapers Sindhi newspapers have come to senses and have defended him by saying that because he is Sindhi they are not tolerating him in the president house.
Irshad Galbanif of daily Kawish says the propaganda of Sindh card wht they dont talk about Balouchistan or Sarhad card or Nawaz Sharif’s Punjab card which he keeps playing even now.
Irshan Galbani says Only since 2002 Mutahida’s Altaf Hussain proclaimed himself as Sindhi and whan President Musharraf said he was Sindhi Altaf Hussain wasted no time in saying that Sindh Card is being used
The term Sindh Card was used for negative politics first time in the Marshal Law of Zia-ul-Haq later Late Banazir Bhuto became the prime minister spoke of Larkana & Lahore’s prime minister this term became ever more prominant and is still being used.
Sindhis themselves do not realise what game is being played with them. They built Pakistan yet Sindhis’s voice is not heard. Many educated Sindhis hide their?identity?when they are in big gatherings as they know moment they are known as Sindhis people start making faces and even keeping distance.

Is it not that PPP Govt always toppled and leaders of PPP tortured mentally as well as physically? Is it not there image was maligned and fabricated charges leveled against them. Why there is discrimination. Is it not unjust? Or is it so Sindh is not part of Pakistan.
Pardon me, if establishment, elite feudal class and media do not change its attitude, there is no guarantee that Pakistan will exist. For It were the Sindhi leaders who rendered their lives to safe Pakistan. Just give me a single example of any other party who lost its leaders for the country and democracy. If same practice goes on history will witness that There will be no other Bhutto to safe Pakistan, There is will be no other Benazir to sacrifice her life in the way of democracy and there will no other Zardari to chant ?Pakistan Khappy?. It is time to play role, masses of Pakistan should also realize the critical situation and must raise voice against those anti- Pakistan entities that want to break Pakistan and demolish nascent democracy.
